Conclusion

This was a great experience for me as a teacher. I have never been a virtual teacher before and I think it has been something very important and it leaves a longing to be able to do it later in a formal way. At the beginning of everything, it was a little difficult to adapt to how to teach and how to make the students also begin to adapt to receive instruction, do exercises and how to evaluate them. It is not easy to move from the classroom where there are more affinity and face-to-face socialization to pass a learning environment where the teacher and the student are separated by distance.

As the weeks passed, the adaptation and the students were evident in their development and their understanding of what they should do and how they should do it. Many of the students quickly adapted to speaking in English since the topics and the fact of being able to meet new people every week, with the most constant students, made many classes fun, very meaningful for them. As time went by, many were connecting to the same class each week, making learning something more and more important to them.

I hope in the future to be able to teach again through online environments and to be able to make this online experience unique again. For all those who want to teach online that they are encouraged to use different web 2.0 tools. There is a great variety of which they can make their classes very significant and that they enjoy and love what they do, that motivates their students to see that English is something very necessary and at the same time easy to learn. Let them see that this adventure is worth it!
